Proverbs 24
25:14-15
Do not lie in wait like an outlaw against a righteous man's house, do not raid his dwelling place;
for though a righteous man falls seven times, he rises again, but the wicked are brought down by calamity.
Seven times? So a righteous man will fall seven times? Exactly what does that mean.
The rest of Prov 24 has much to say about covetness and human relations, epecially the wicked.

Learning new things
Sunday School has been very exciting for me over the last few months. I have been blessed to have wonderful and caring people who love God that have much to teach me about life. We are going through our core values and providing scriptural reasons as to why we have them.
I have been going to Wyatt Park Christian for 16 months now and it beginning to grow on me. I have been blessed and have been taught a great many things. Most importantly my enthusiasm for the greatest book still continues.

The ugliest thing I have ever seen
What could be the ugliest thing I have ever seen,
Something that takes away a beautiful sheen,
It has come into this world and makes a huge gap,
It tries to ensnare us in it's alluring trap,
Oh how, oh how can I make it go,
It is such a formidible foe,
I fight it, I run, I trick it; yet it is there,
I battle it now, but in the end how will I fare?
The ugliest thing that is on this earth,
Can not be measured by length not girth,
There has been one who has come to free us all,
Yet we don't trust him, so in the end will fall.
Who is this foe and from where does it come,
Why is as steady as that old beaten drum.
Some say this thing doesn't really exist,
Don't fall prey to this very tempting kiss.
Put on your armor and sharpen your sword,
From this ugly thing you must cut away it's cord.
You are a lion and have trapped us in your den,
The ugliest thing I have ever seen in my life is _ _ _.
But I have trained and leader is King,
and in the end-your END- is what he will bring.

This weeks study
Hebrews 13 is where I am at right now.
This is a powerful passage, even as a whole. Here is is advise to keep our lives free of the love of money. Referring to other passages that speak of only being able to serve one master, this solidifies that. Why free ourselves of the love of money, because it is a treasure easily lost. Our treasures in heaven are never stolen. Trust in Jesus, for he will never leave me.
Hebrews 13-Keep on loving each other as brothers. Do not forget to entertain strangers, for by so doing some people have entertained angels without knowing it. (This is interesting, exactly how do we go about inviting into our homes?) Remember those in prison as if you were their fellow prisoners, and those who are mistreated as if you yourselves were suffering(Prison Fellowship is awesome here).
Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral(Does the world get this confused). Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, because God has said, "Never will I leave you; never will I forsake you."So we say with confidence, "The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?"
Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith. Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.
Do not be carried away by all kinds of strange teachings. It is good for our hearts to be strengthened by grace, not by ceremonial foods, which are of no value to those who eat them. We have an altar from which those who minister at the tabernacle have no right to eat.
The high priest carries the blood of animals into the Most Holy Place as a sin offering, but the bodies are burned outside the camp. And so Jesus also suffered outside the city gate to make the people holy through his own blood. Let us, then, go to him outside the camp, bearing the disgrace he bore. For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come.
Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that confess his name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account(I forget to do this one). Obey them so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you.
Pray for us. We are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to live honorably in every way. I particularly urge you to pray so that I may be restored to you soon.
May the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
Brothers, I urge you to bear with my word of exhortation, for I have written you only a short letter.
I want you to know that our brother Timothy has been released. If he arrives soon, I will come with him to see you.
Greet all your leaders and all God's people. Those from Italy send you their greetings.
Grace be with you all.

One class down
This past two months have been really exciting for me. With finding out I will be teaching in the fall next year to having my school paid for. Then my committment to reading. One door closes, another opens.
I have been taking a couple of Bill Hybels suggestions about how to start my day. They are rewarding and enrich my purpose throughout my day.
I just finished my accounting class tonight. I didn't do as well as I should have on the final.
I still have my leadership final this week to do. I did finish one of the many research papers for the class. I recieved an "A" on it. It was on Billy Graham. I know it is odd to chose an Evangelist for a business leadership paper, however, I wanted to learn more about him. To read it click on this link.
Summer is all most here and I have much to do.
