God is the not the only one watching

This is a powerful video I watched when I came back from our graduation. I must remember that God is not the only one that is watching. May I continue to glorify God in my actions, my words, and my life.

Mommy and Evan are home

Last night Jennifer and Evan came home. Dylan and Aubrey did their best to welcome them back. Aubrey went a little further. She was very excited to have a new playmate, one she can nurture. She is very ready to be the big sister.

She is still receiving many visitors and calls. She has appreciated the time people have been giving her. She even has had meals delivered to her by her MOPS(Mothers of PreSchoolers) group.

Mighty is Joseph

Joseph is mighty because he believes. Even though he does not see God nor has God directly communicated with him as with his forefathers, Joseph acts on faith.

Joseph shows his adversity when faced with challenging circumstances....life and death ones.

Back in Genesis

So I have found myself back in the beginning. I really love the story of Joseph and I am looking for things I have not seen before. I have been praying for God to use me to achieve his will. Waiting is no fun, and wait patiently.....well I am really hoping that is not the lesson. Which is kind of ironic that I have been lead to dig back into the story of Joseph.

The Bible is silent on the in between stages of the story, arghh. Still yet I am keeping my eyes wide open so that I hear God's voice. Aha! Waiting patiently and quietly so I can hear God (Not audibly at least not yet).

When he opens the next door I pay that by his grace I will enter.

Happy Anniversary

Wow has God been good to my wife and I. Everyday is a testimony to his grace and his love. I have walked through the valley and with him there have glorified his name. Happy Anniversary honey and let us continue to take each day...one day at a time.

God has made marriage as a way to glorify him, to glorify him on his timeline not ours. A successful marriage is about getting out of his way with our selfishness so his reign can continue. May we continue to put him at the center and grow in our walk with him.

Glory be to God always.

Picture Time!

Being Bob's wife and being with him over the last 11 years (Since 1997...wow) has been the best part of my life and I just wanted to put that out there for everyone to know! Things have been a little crazy while he has been at Training and I have had to taken on a lot of responsibilities that I didn't have before. One being keeping up with this blog which I haven't been but I am making an effort right now to try to do so with some Pictures that I hope everyone likes!

Training is great

Well after my stint at Maxwell AFB, it is now onto Texas for 11 weeks of Hospital Admin training. I am actually learning a new language, the language of acronyms. It can be quite frightening to speak that way and even yet to actually understand sentence made up entirely of them.

I did get to see the kids over graduation and they sure are growing up, even if it was just 5 weeks. I am excited about going home for the holidays, but until them there is much to learn and do.

Much Remodeling

Dad is doing tons of remodeling around the house. Bathrooms, kitchens, landscaping, crown molding, etc.

Soon your Mom will be putting the house on the market to sell. I will go in about 4-5 weeks. Then we can only hope that we will stay until January, if not STL here we come.

The Polls are now Open.

St. Joseph, Missouri (AP). With the expected delivery of the baby just around the corner, the polls are open for friends and family to vote on their favorite baby names. This primary election will help narrow the field to a manageable set of candidates. As far as the sex, when brother Dylan was asked he replied, "I hope it's a boy." The parents replied with "No comment."

VIDEO BELOW WORTH WATCHING

In case you lost your secret decoder ring

For those who have slipped under our radar lately, we want to inform those that are still reading that we are expecting our next child in early December. I know what you are thinking and your right, I am bailing on my wife in those last few months while I finish up my Air Force training.

Not to worry....Grandmas are here and there and everywhere. And volunteer Grandma's are always wecome.

We go this Friday for the cool sonogram and hopefully I will put pictures up afterwards. They have this child as a High Risk Pregnancy due to Aubrey's heart stuff, so the sooner we can rule that out the better.

Number three, Number three, Boy or Girl? Sorry already know it's not twins. Girl or Boy?

Trip to Seattle

After driving home from Wisconsin on the 30th, I turned around and went on a 1900 mile road trip with my 85 year old Grandpa Glenn. The trip was priceless and worth every second. I will spend the rest of my life remembering the great road adventure we had in 2.4 days.

Wisconsin Trip Was Awesome

Having tons of family vacationing with you is the best. The weather was gentle to us and the scenery was magnificent.

Other books I finished

Fraternity is a revealing book that made me want to learn more about Nixon.

The Long Goodbye about ripped my heart out. Most know how much I read on Reagan, and this book was painful. Reagan's daughter is telling the story and brings you right in the middle of the Alzheimer's battle.

Books that I have finished

Dr. Finney lent me this book. It reveals alot about things we don't hear on the tube. Latrell and the others in his SEAL team are the focus of this True Story.

All is calm on the western front

The Air Force is not so far on the horizon. This is a long time coming, and it will make it that much more important. The dream of serving my country is before me.

I am thankful for this opportunity!

20 Family Garage Sale

Well the garage sale was a success. With nearly 20 families in this sale, Jennifer is rethinking the location of the sales. The sales help the families out tremendously, however, traffic flow is a problem when it is extremely busy. So we are going to explores another house, maybe on Cambridge or Bristol.

Garage Sale

Mom is getting ready for another BIG garage sale. This is more stuff than I have ever seen. She will be happy to find a new and appreciative home for all of these items. Redistribution of wealth so to speak.

We got a postcard from Astrid today with a beautiful picture of Veracruz on the front.

Myrtle Beach is on the horizon.

Fishing trip I am planning for Jennifer

Here is a video of the fishing trip we are planning for the summer. Much quicker, less wait times, and only one type of bait.

As quick as they arrived; they left

For a few days we had the joy of hosting Astrid and Jessica. Both were wonderful and a blessing to have in our house. I can attest to the hardworking nature of both, both had charm, and full of personality.

Dylan enjoyed having them, especially Jessica read to them. Now Aubrey, put her in the room with older women and she goes crazy.

The show was awesome and I can say that in the twenty plus years of attending shows at the Missouri Theatre; their show was the most rocking and perhaps the most meaningful. I am not sure if is the fact that I am anticipating many changes for our family, or the fact that I know from watching Astrid and Jessica & Cecile and Rachel come home so tired.

Wow, we have an amazing God and once again he has amazed me with his love. As Easter approaches I am thankful for the grace he has extended to us so that we may glorify him. May we continue to build his kingdom here on earth. May the Gospel be spread to all the ends of the earth, for if they do not hear............

Getting ready for our house guests

Jennifer and I are excited about hosting two people with Up With People International. They will be staying with us Monday thru Thursday. Their big performance at the Missouri Theater is on Wednesday.

New pictures

I don't know how many times I have thanked God for my children and my wife. I must have the longest consecutive streak of waking up feeling like I have been dealt a Full House. These are the pictures Jennifer got of the kids. I just quit going, because then she tries to make me pick which one is the best. "Forget that" is what I think, give me something easy like trying to explain E=mc^2 to the kids of about hyperinflation in Zimbabwe; picking one of those pictures as the keeper is alot tougher and I will just keep letting Jennifer do it.

Dylan will be in Sleeping Beauty

Dylan scored a role in Sleeping Beauty being put on by Missoula Children's Theatre. It will be held at the Missouri Theatre this Saturday at 3 and 7.

We are all excited for this opportunity.....We might be biased but he is very well behaved on stage.

Griffon Alumni Event

Last night we had a wonderful time at th Griffon Alumni event. It was well attended and food was great. The company was outstanding and it made me realize how many wonderful people have been part of my life. There are the people that ask the tough questions, those that constantly are encrouaging me, and those I strive to emulate because of their integrity and sense of fairness.

I could never have picutred having the life I have fifteen years ago and I thank God for his "hand" in everything.

Kids are awesome

I am hoping this stage of raising the kids continues. I love their spontaneity, their love, and their creativity. Their energy and charm are great also.

This is the best "job" I have ever had!!!!!!!

More Wisconsin Videos

Here are some more sledding videos

Sunday, January 06, 2008

Wisconsin was fun, I think we'll go back!

It was great to get away with the family and go to the state of Wisconsin for the first time. The drive went fine and seemed short, especially on the way home. We stayed at a beautiful resort (Christmas Mountain Village). We snowtubed, went on a carriage ride, toured around the city and resort, and went "Red-neck" sledding. Check out this video by clicking on them:

This is a little video of Aubrey in the snow tube:
