Acelynn Victoria Brown

Congratulations Michelle and Jon! She is so cute and I am a proud Aunt! I think Evan likes his new Cousin.

Memorial Day Weekend

I don't think we could have had a busier Memorial Day Weekend! We got to finalize things on the selling of our house, visit with our Wyatt Park Church Family, Celebrate Grandma Hughs's 80th Birthday and see my new baby niece Acelynn Victoria Brown born on May 20th.
We also got to visit and brush up on our card game skills in a few games of Spades with uncle Grant and his wife Ivy who we haven't seen in years. Kory and Morgan stopped by and visited with us. We had fun going over to my uncle Kelly and aunt Tammie's house and seeing cousins Tyler and Kaitlin who are growing up so fast and almost teenagers!
We have some of the greatest friends in the world! Theresa it was so great to see you and baby MJ. even though it was just for a bit. Alice you and your family are still in our thoughts and prayers thanks for letting us stop by. We got to stop by and see Karla, Anna and Grandma Vonnie. Anna thanks for painting Aubrey's toe nails she still talks about it.
Bob Morton we can't thank you enough for opening your house for us to stay and to my mom and step dad for our stay also! You guys sure do know how to feed us.
Enjoy the pictures I will try to post more later.

The little girl won't go to sleep

So it about 4:15 in the morning now. Aubrey has been restless since going down. She hasn't been crying anything, however, about 3:30 she goes "Dad, I'm Hungry." So Kix cereal here we come. After eating that and drining a cup of grape juice, she wants to play with her tea set!

So here I am catching up on e-mails while trying to make sure she plays quiet enough to keep everyone asleep.

The bed hopefully will be softer by the time I reach it.

And we are home

It was a long up and down day, however, we are home and Aubrey ate a nice dinner Grandma Kathy made....Chicken and Almonds with a Root Beer Float.

It looks as though the open heart surgery will be in August some time.

To top it off, Cambrie and Cody brought some brownie cake by the house.

It tough times and good times, we will praise him!

Just waiting

Aubrey is still sedated and I am just doing some work. Just waiting and waiting............

She came out okay

The only thing new we found after the surgery was she had developed collateral veins in the lungs. This is the bodies natural way of trying to increase oxygen levels in the body. This is a problem for the surgeons because it causes backflow during the open heart surgery. They injected ceramic into them to close them down.

She has to lay still for about six hours to ensure nothing gets "shaken" up. Hopefully, we will see her eyes in the next couple of hours.

They anticipate we will be home this evening. Jennifer also wanted to let everyone know that Baby and Pink Poodle made it though surgery alright.

Dylan and Grandma Kathy went to Grant's farm

Grandma Kathy and Grandma Shiori came in to help with the kids. Grandma Kathy got to go on a field trip with Dylan to Grant's farm.

They took her in

They gave her some sleepy medicene and took her in to start the cathe. We should have an update about 9:30 or so.

Time to wait....argh.

On our way

Grandma Shiori will be going to the hospital with us to stay with Dylan. Check in at the hospital is at 7 this morning.

We'll see how traffic will be in the early hours.

Heart Cathe is Scheduled

Everything check up and we are scheduled for the morning. Click on the picture of Dr. Susan R Foerster to read more.
