Went to Belton

We traveled to Belton over the weekend to visit Jennifer's Grandma Norma. She had fallen earlier in the week and broke her wrist. She is having a hard time adapting to the altering of her daily routines; ie jar lids, washing dishes, etc. We went to church there at Westhaven. Pastor Curt does a fantastic job at delivering Bible based teaching. Over the last five years I have really enjoyed attending there when we are down there.

We also went to Theresa's house warming party in Raytown Wednesday night. I had a blast, even if part of the night I was with the little people (I actually like that because I am not judged too harshly when I act like a kid!) She had a variety of people there and John grilled out. I still can't get over the awesome salads they had. The whole spread was great.

Jennifer is going back to work

Jennifer has wanted to go back to work for awhile and tomorrow she will returned. She has been wanting to help out since they are working without a psychometrist and will need to train a new one. She is jsut going back part time right now, so I will be at home with the kids. They will be very prepared to take the GMAT. I am not sure they need to know such complex algebra and legnthy words, however they lucked out.

I am sure this will go fine. If I start my MBA classes in the fall, they will be all in the evenings.

VBS

Dylan and Kylee are going to Terry Insco's church for morning VBS until Friday. Dylan was so excited when he got home and told me all about it. I made them hamburgers for lunch and reuben dip. Kylee got to spend last night here. She is so grown up now. I could not imagine beinghere mom, because it seems like yesterday she was a little baby and I was out at Heartland looking through the window. Time sure goes by quickly.

More studying for the GMAT, it looks as though I can wait until next week. That will give me time to get stronger in some areas.

The kids said the air show was awesome

We had Austin and Alexis over the weekend. They went with Dylan and Aubrey to the air show. At the base they were with their Mom.

They said the planes and jets were awesome and loud. They sure went all out this year, of course it was their 60th anniversary over at Rosecrans.

The big Air Show Tomorrow

The kids are going out to the Air Show tomorrow while I will be at home taking practice GMAT's.

I have a feeling I am going to nail this test.

Dylan and I went to church

Sorry for not posting yesterday. Daddies little helper worked with me at the old house. We poured about 40 bags of Quikcrete. He was wonderful.

Today Dylan and I went to church, I am so glad he has been going with me. It is tough being a Father. I know I won't ever be the same caliber at Father God, however he sure has put a lot of pressure on Dad's. I heard a great sermon on the radio from Darrel Jones about fatherhood from his Father's Day message. It really stuck with me.

We will be going to KC Monday for Jennifer's Dad's birthday. He will be turning 50. I hope he knows how much Jennifer appreciates him, even though he gets lectures from her every once in awhile. We were justing talking about taking him on vacation with us to Tennessee last year. How many daughters invite their Dad on vacation with their family? We had a good time and one year later are still talking about it.

Electrical Panel Cover is on

It has never been done before, nor attempted. The electrical panel cover is on the panel at the Delaware house for the first time ever. Actually I am finding out I am getting more work done in the old house now that I am in the new house. I think I will be contacting the worlds greatest realtor next week to see about putting the house on the market. With pursuing the MBA this fall, I think it will fit the schedule better.

Independence Day is right around the corner and boy am I happy to live in a free country.

Dylan and Aubrey went ot the playground

While I stayed home and took a practice GMAT, everyone else went out to Bartlett Park to meet the other kids. I have to say this is more a test for me. After takig the test I worked on the mower. Then went over to the other house and did some painting, mowed the grass, and worked on the stairs.

Buy or rent, that is the question for the Delaware house.

Dylan went to the library

Dylan, Jennifer, and Aubrey went to the Rolling Hills library today while I ran errands. They had animals from the KC Zoo on hand. After they got home Dylan managed to take a nap. He normally just lays down for his 45 minutes, however the last couple of days he has been sleeping. That might have something to do with his allergies. I am getting excited about my career and education move. There has only been a few time where I have felt so excited. Years of preparation perhaps are ready to pay off.
