The surgery went great and she is on her way to recovery. What a day it has been. We made it to the hospital at 7 a.m. and they took her around 9:45 for the anesthesia. Dr. Lofland came and said it was all done around 11a.m. Finally at around 1 in the afternoon we were able to go and see her. I thought I was prepared for it, but nothing I think could have really prepared me for seeing my baby hooked to some many tubes and machines. We made it back to the Ronald McDonald House around 5P.M. and had and nice quiet dinner. So yes I am so emotionally drained today not that I haven’t been since that first night.
I am blessed in so many ways not only for Aubrey but also for a wonderful husband who has started this blog and done almost all the postings. I am not one that likes to just sit down and write but I love to sit down and go through pictures and for those who know me I love to take pictures. Below is a link to just a few of them! I feel like I am also so lucky to have so many friends, family and strangers thinking about and praying for us. I love reading the comments you all have left. Please keep them coming!
